THE BARE ESSENTIALS MISSION:
As London’s best reviewed new writing night we put established and emerging talent on the same stage, where audiences are entertained by theatre at its most elemental. We read submissions from all around the world, previously staging work by BAFTA winners, Netflix and Dreamworks producers, published playwrights and exciting new talent. We're one of London's longest-running independent new writing nights, giving Bare Essentials the same commitment as our full-scale shows, answering the demand for fresh new theatre right here in the theatre capital of the world.
Bare Essentials is produced in association with Scripts Spotlight, which features performances of new writing in podcast form. You can listen to podcasts of work previously performed at Bare Essentials by heading to the Everything Theatre website.
